The PD3's twin shaft brass casing houses a modern piezo ignition. Upon ignition, 30 micro-fine perforations produce a windproof jet circular flame. A lateral fold-away cover on the ignition button protects it from dirt. A smooth matte finish decorates the lighter which contains a high-tech Trogamid fuel tank and fuel-level window. The PD3 is Porsche Design's ideal all-weather lighter.
